New Downdraft Wall

RCHT Downdraft Wall at Treliske, has been in partnership with Cormac, to build a downdraft wall to the to protect pedestrians at the existing Helipad at the hospital.

 

This job has provided some obstacles with the high amount or services surrounding the Helipad serving the hospital. Courtney King Plant Hire undertook trial holes to locate unknown services, before breaking ground for the foundations could commence.

 

The concrete bases were poured  floating the bolt sets to allow for the install of wind post to offer further support to the wall.

The Wall has been finished with Callywith stone and copings making it a beautifully finished structure along with its potentially life saving practical use.
